Man, I'm this close to switching to Edwards, and you gotta go an hit me over the head with this stuff. Good points though; I offer this David Brooks(!) article in response. Obviously, he can't be trusted, but even if this pro-Obama piece serves the greater purpose of favoring the weakest opponent for the future Republican nominee, it still offers a perspective of the presidency and of Obama's suitable qualities that carries a lot of weight for me.
