Interesting analysis. These guys use their own model of the country to help predict trends, etc. Rather than divide the country into two colors: red and blue, they divide the country into eleven colors, each representing a type of community with it's own particular interests and ideology. Obama might put it this way: "There is not a red American and a blue America. There is a brown America, a green America, an aqua America, a yellow America, a blue America, a grey America, a purple America, an orange America, a peach America, a red America and a pink America!" Although that doesn't have quite the same ring to it.
